In compliance with Federal Communications Commission (FCC) regulations, SMS registration ensures that consumers are protected from spam and fraud. Businesses sending SMS messages must register their phone numbers and campaigns with carriers and The Campaign Registry (TCR). This process ensures that:

  • Message senders are verified as legitimate businesses.

  • Messages are sent only to individuals who have given consent.

2. Information We Collect

As part of our SMS messaging services, we may collect the following information:

  • Your name and mobile phone number.

  • Records of SMS messages you receive from us.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Send SMS messages you have opted in to receive.

  • Comply with FCC requirements and carrier regulations.

  • Ensure that our SMS services are used responsibly and securely.

Your information will not be shared, sold, or used for unauthorized purposes.

  • Limiting access to authorized personnel only.

We retain your information as long as you are subscribed to our SMS service. You may request deletion at any time.

7. Non-Sharing Clause

We do not share your data with third parties for marketing purposes. Kountry Klean, LLC will not sell, rent, or share the collected mobile numbers.

8. Opting Out

To stop receiving SMS messages:

Once you opt out, you will receive a final SMS to confirm your unsubscription, and we will remove your number from our list within 24 hours.

9. Message Frequency and Charges

  • Messages are recurring, and message frequency varies.

  • MESSAGES AND DATA RATES MAY APPLY: Your mobile carrier may charge fees for sending or receiving text messages, especially if you do not have an unlimited texting or data plan.

10. Assistance

For additional assistance, you can send HELP, and you will receive a text including our phone number, email, and website. We are here to help you.

11. Third-Party Partners

To comply with FCC requirements and ensure secure SMS delivery, we partner with carriers and The Campaign Registry (TCR). These third parties are responsible for verifying legitimate businesses and facilitating message delivery. Your information is only shared with these partners for compliance and operational purposes.

12. Updates to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in laws or our practices. Updates will be posted on our website, and significant changes will be communicated directly to you.

Kountry Klean Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: January 1, 2025

Welcome to Kountry Klean, LLC ("Kountry Klean," "we," "our," "us"). By using our trash collection services, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. These terms apply automatically to all customers.

1. Service Overview

Kountry Klean provides residential trash collection services in Pickens County, South Carolina. Service is limited to one pickup per week unless otherwise communicated.

2. Payment & Billing

  • Service is prepaid and can be billed monthly, quarterly (preferred), or annually.

  • Customers must keep their accounts current to avoid service interruptions.

  • Payments are non-refundable, including for unused service after cancellation.

Late Fees & Service Suspension:

  • $5 late fee if payment is 7 days late.

  • Additional $10 late fee if payment is 14 days late (total $15).

  • Service may be suspended after 14 days of non-payment and will only resume once the full balance is paid.

3. Trash Collection Guidelines

  • Customers using Kountry Klean’s 96-gallon bin must ensure all trash fits inside with the lid fully closed.

  • Customers using their own bin are limited to five (5) 13-gallon kitchen bags or two (2) contractor bags (30+ gallons) per pickup.

  • All trash must be securely bagged before placing it in the bin.

  • Trash must be placed curbside the night before pickup unless the customer has paid for walk-up service.

  • If a customer fails to set out their trash on time, they must wait until the next scheduled pickup.

4. Prohibited Items

Kountry Klean does not accept the following items:

  • Hazardous Waste (e.g., paint, chemicals, batteries, motor oil, pesticides)

  • Yard Waste (e.g., grass clippings, branches, leaves)

  • Bulky Items (e.g., furniture, mattresses, appliances)

  • Electronics (e.g., TVs, computers, printers, monitors)

Customers are responsible for properly disposing of these items through appropriate recycling or disposal services.

5. Service Interruptions & Weather Delays

  • In the event of severe weather, road closures, holidays, or unforeseen disruptions, Kountry Klean will communicate any schedule changes.

  • Customers will receive a makeup pickup day, which will be announced via email, text, or other communication methods.

6. Liability & Damage Policy

Property Damage Responsibility:

  • Kountry Klean is not responsible for damage caused by normal truck operations, including driving on customer property.

  • If damage occurs due to negligence by Kountry Klean, customers must report it within 48 hours for review. If found responsible, Kountry Klean will either repair or compensate for the damage at its discretion.

  • Kountry Klean is not responsible for pre-existing damage or inadequate surfaces.

Bin Damage & Replacement:

  • Kountry Klean-provided bins: If damaged by normal use or our team, we will replace them at no charge. If lost, stolen, or damaged by the customer, a $100 replacement fee will apply.

  • Customer-owned bins: Kountry Klean is not responsible for any damage or loss.

7. Customer Conduct & Compliance

  • Customers must place bins curbside by the night before their scheduled pickup unless they have paid for walk-up service.

  • Customers must comply with trash limits, bagging requirements, and prohibited item restrictions.

  • Repeated violations, including but not limited to placing unbagged trash, exceeding volume limits, or disposing of prohibited items, may result in service suspension or termination at Kountry Klean’s discretion.

8. Changes to Service & Pricing

  • Kountry Klean reserves the right to modify pricing, service terms, or policies as needed.

  • Customers will receive at least 14 days' notice before any changes take effect.

  • Continued use of our service after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

  • In the event of a dispute, customers must first attempt to resolve the issue informally by contacting Kountry Klean’s customer service.

  • If a resolution cannot be reached informally, the dispute may be resolved through mediation or arbitration, if agreed upon by both parties.

  • This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina.

10. Acceptance of Terms

  • These Terms & Conditions apply automatically to all customers using Kountry Klean’s services.

  • By using our services, customers agree to these terms.
